Starting again

Okay, so now that poker is going downhill i decided to play around with sports betting some more

My plan is to have three sets of wagers

Locks : Those Games that I'd be willing to put money on
Picks : Still like the team i pick, but not as much
Abstain : No Clue, or not enough to wager

Carolina over LA : This kind of speaks for itself, LA is no good, has no long term goalie solution, and carolina is at home. They have been scoring on and off... whitney has been hot.. and they are on the edge of the playoff race ... they need to make a move

SJ over STL : SJ has played well , STL hasnt... they should take this handily

WIN, and they were ahead with the 1.5 till 2 late 3rd peroiod STL goals

TB over PHO : Somewhat similar to the Carolina situation... Phoenix isn't that good, and would have to rely on joseph to keep them in this game... by trading away Nagy , they gave away their best goal scorer... look for TB to pull this out at home

MONTREAL over FLORIDA : both teams are on bad runs in their last few games, however montreal has been involved in many close games, are playing at home, and are still in the running for a playoff spot... Florida has reason to give up after their lack of post all star play

this game is somewhat tough, colorado sadly is barely over .500 at home, while Anaheim is over 67% on the road both teams have been terrible in their past ten games, but when it comes down to it, you have to expect the team with more skill to pull it out... look for the ducks to bring it home

ATL over CALGARY
this will be the first real upset i want to pick. Calgary is playing terribly lately... although kiprusoff could bring his team back at any time. With atlanta getting +160 on this game, i like their chances very much... however for a safer bet, take ATL on the puckline... because if the flames win this game, barring it will not be by more than 2 goals, and i would be suprised to see it as more than one without an empty net goal
